Galaxy Note PhonesIn the messages app, there should be an option to click special characters. When you click that, there should be an option for more special characters. This usually looks like 1/2.

Galaxy Note PhonesI'm using the standard keyboard and trying to type in a password I have, that has a curly bracket in it. I could change the password I guess, but it seems like I should be able to type a curly bracket.
