Galaxy Note PhonesThe blue-tooth device is a Pioneer AS_BT100 bluetooth adapter that I have on a stereo. My Note 8 was paired with the AS-BT100, but my wife's Note 8 could not find the AS-BT100. I called support, they first tried my wife's Note 8 to no avail, then tried my Note 8, unpaired it, and it could no longer find the AS-BT100 adapter. Reset also breaks it, so support ended up essentially creating an issue that they could not recover from (they were at it for almost 2 hours).
Fortunately, I had done a backup with Windows Smart Switch app, and by restoring settings from November 2023 (last year) to both Note 8's, the AS-BT100 showed as paired from "older phone", but was able to pair and work, so that issue was solved, but only because I had done a backup.
The AS-BT100 is an older bluetooth device, and I suspect a Note 8 software update is what broke this.
Again, what doesn't make sense is both Note 8's are now working with the AS-BT100, but if unpaired, both Note 8's are unable to find AS-BT100 again.
