I've noticed that on my note 9, that the camera freezes while taking pictures. It's worse while shooting videos with a lot of lagging.
I don't know if anyone one else have experienced this.
Solved! Go to Solution.
People on reddit have already confirmed the camera update does not fix this problem.
And all the SamsungCole said is that if there's a fix it could take a week or more. No update beyond that. So no acknowledgment of this problem or any updates on if a solution is being worked on.
My unlocked Note9 phone has so many issues
My phone issues....
1.) Bluetooth wont pair to my 2016 vehicle
2.) Bluelight filter glitches
3.) Text messages glitches at the bottom
4.) Cant disable shutter sound
5.) Phone display doesnt seem get that bright
6.) Bixby button is a joke and should be disabled if I choose.(hit by mistake all the time)
I havent used my phone too much for videos but the little I have, the phone warms up pretty quick and I would not be surprised if my phone would freeze up too after recording for awhile.
If you notice on this Samaung forum they take random people's info anout their issue but there are some MAJOR issues with the phone with multiple common complaints. BASIC features on any 2018 smartphone is a functioning camera and bluetooth, ESPECIALLY for $1,000+. Only thing I can guess is Samsung does not have a solution and hoping people just deal with it. I can EASILY see a recall on this phone because it's not ready for prime time.
If all of these issues are not fixed I will take the loss, sell the phone online, and buy a Pixel 3.
Samsung we are waiting
Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know that my wife's T-mobile Note 9 has 0 issues with the camera. My unlocked Note 9 has a pure garbage firmware! Not only we lack camera shutter sound on/off option, but we're also lack the stability and performance present in the carrier versions. I'm disputing the $1K charge if Shamesung refuses to approve my return. I had enough! Moving to Pixel now as Samsung doesn't give a darn about us.
I was hoping to return mine as well, but I am a few weeks outside the Best Buy return period. They hold pretty firmly to their return policy. I switched from the iPhone X to the Note 9 to get away from Apple and am so sorry I did right now. I get that most new products have their issues at launch, but the camera is so vitally fundamental to today's smartphones, this problem is unacceptable. And, certainly, no acknowledgement from Samsung is especially egregious. I have missed so many video and photo moments, it's sickening.
