Note 9 camera freezes

I've noticed that on my note 9, that the camera freezes while taking pictures. It's worse while shooting videos with a lot of lagging. 

I don't know if anyone one else have experienced this.

Third party app replicates the freezing issue. We have to find the culprit. Clearing cache wiping cache partition doesn't solve the problem.

Yea I'm seeing the camera freeze in other apps that use the camera. Messaging, Whatsapp, Facebook, etc.

Open Camera doesn't freeze for me yet though.

And yes wiping the cache partition does nothing more than just a regular restart. Temporarily fixes the problem but it'll come back.

I'm also having the same issue. Constantly freezes and unresponsive for at least a good 5-10 seconds at a time. Frustrating.

Thank you for that information. Could you also try testing the camera while the phone is in Safe Mode to see if you're still experiencing the delays?

It's very unfortunate .But I am having the same problem like everyone else here .Very frustrating. I think it's the software issue from Samsung itself. Using camera on Instagram or Facebook doesn't affect it. Please come to with the solution Samsung .it's a thousand dollars phone .

It froze on me doing Facebook live. I have the same issue with taking videos.
