I've noticed that on my note 9, that the camera freezes while taking pictures. It's worse while shooting videos with a lot of lagging.
I don't know if anyone one else have experienced this.

I'm stuck for now with note 9. I bought the 512 on upgrade plan so I'm stuck for a bit.
I'm stuck as well! If I could, I'd go back to iPhone, but $1,300 is a lot to have wasted, only to pay $1,500 for the iPhone XS Max. Ugh!! I should have stayed with Apple!! 😞
I recently came back to Samsung after leaving my note 7 for a Pixel XL for 2 years. I love the new note 9 but it has an issue, and it cost me a memory today that I can never get back. my 8year old daughter was singing the national anthem for a city fall festival today. I have had issues recoding video before, mostly laggy video, with audio unaffected. so I tested it a few times before she sang, and it worked fine. when she started her amazing performance, one verse into the anthem, my phone gave me a message that it was over heating and camera will not work. are you kidding me? my 1 month old $1,000 phone can't record video for 3 minutes without getting hot? what Happened to liquid cooling inside this thing? I mean, this is a memory I can not get back. I am very dissatisfied. only time I needed it to work and it let me down. luckily, my wife was also recording with her iPhone. video quality is not as good, but at least it made it through the song
Unfortunately I do not know more at this time, we are awaiting more information from our specialists. I cannot speculate on the release of future updates, I am sorry.

So I took my phone into ubreakifix yesterday and what they did was reinstalled the OS system via computer. It actually has helped a lot and I have noticed my camera and video running much smoother except, when the battery is under 40%. I'm assuming it might have to do with that because of how much memory it uses up and how this phone does have great apps, however it is like a computer and does need its battery. Thoughts???
I have one more observation to make, well, several. I'm sure someone has already mentioned this somewhere. The camera freezes whenever I use one of several apps that need to scan a photo or barcode. For example, the CVS app when trying to scan prescriptions, the QR app by Tapmedia, the Kohl's app, the Amazon app, the Stocard app and the CA Lottery app, just to name a few. I mean really, Samsung has no idea that all of these apps have a problem with the camera freezing??? Just wow!!
