Note 9 camera freezes

I've noticed that on my note 9, that the camera freezes while taking pictures. It's worse while shooting videos with a lot of lagging. 

I don't know if anyone one else have experienced this.

I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way, but I need you guys to keep the conversation on topic. I hate if the delay in a fix has caused some to get a different device, but if it works for you then I am glad you're up and running. In an attempt to make sure the fix gets rolled out properly though, I need the replies to be regarding the latest update and if this update indeed fixed the issue and if not, what's your current baseband so I can relay this information to our specialists.

The last update received was on November 14th. The issue still continued as a day or two later  while I recorded my niece's soccer the camera froze again!! The update actually indicated it was supposed to provide additional recording option for the super slo-mode. So the update had nothing to do with the camera lag/freeze problem.

$1000 spent on phone fancy phone and the holidays are here. Most will ask why I can't use my phone. I will tell them why. So the word will spread even more about the note 9 camera failure.

I believe it has to do with the Sony sensor in the note 9. As the earlier posts from others indicated that most, if not all, said they had the Sony sensors inside their note 9.

Samsung what is going on with your quality control? First the infamous battery and now the camera fail!

By the time the issue showed up from using camera it was a week or two past return period. We pay for a new phone and we get poor quality and have to get a repair so now its refurbished  phone that clearly had issues from the beginning! Not to mention the inconvenience of being without a phone while its being repaired!!

Came here to post that too. Finally this problem is picking up steam...

 

As for me...AT&T sent me a new phone a few days ago. It took four days, but the freezing is starting to show up already. Really don't know know what to do at this point...

Went to an authorized service center today in Colorado Springs and the guy went to safe mode to show me that the camera works fine  suggesting that third party software may be the culprit  .

That’s ridiculous. Even if your camera has been freezing, a restart can make it work normally for a few days before the problem returns. How long did the tech have it after he rebooted the phone into safe mode? That exercise proved absolutely nothing.

I have the unlocked version on Verizon and I have made 2 YouTube video on the Note 9 and I don't see where the problem with camera or video. It maybe an at&t update problem from the October update. So stop saying the problem is with the Note 9 its probably is with at&t.

The problem occurs on any carrier in the usa so read before you talk.
