Phone dialer pops up randomly

In the middle of everything the phone dialer will pop up by itself and I cant figure out what it is that is causing it!? I need help...please! Somebody....anybody!?

Hello there, do you know if the dialer pops up more frequently on some apps than others? Do you know if this still happens when your device is in safe mode?

I have same issue. I seem to notice while screen is on while watching movies or some apps.

This was happening to me only when my phone was in my pocket with the screen off.

I would hear it start dialing, pull it out and find the dialing pad was up with this "emergency dialing" feature happening.

But I found a setting called "accidental touch protection" that you can just search in settings.

It protects the phone from accidental touches when in dark places like pockets.

Haven't had an issue once since I turned that on.

Don't know if that's the issue you are describing or not.

Sorry, can't help you if this is happening randomly while you are using your phone.
That's never happened on my Note 10+.

I first noticed it when playing brick breaker quest..so initially thought it had something to do with that..but then realized it happens whenever it wants no matter what I am using..not sure how to check in safe mode

Safe mode would help us narrow down if there is a third-party app causing this. To enter safe mode:

• Press and hold the Power button until the Power off menu appears then release.
• Touch and hold Power off until the Safe mode prompt appears then release.
• To confirm, tap Safe mode.
• The process may take up to 30 seconds to complete.

So I used it In safe mode and it didnt happen...went back to normal mode and deleted some apps that i had downloaded and so far no pop ups..thanks for the assistance..hopefully that resolved the issue

The problem isn't an app for me. There is no headphone port on the Note 10 plus. I had to buy an adapter to play in my car. My phone constantly trys to turn the screen on with this plugged on. When it is unlocked it constantly tries to go to the dialer.
