Phone keeps disconnecting from galaxy watch

Since updating, my phone fails to connect to my galaxy watch.

I've restarted my watch and phone, it manages to connect then but only briefly, seconds if that, then fails to reconnect.

Try to uninstall it and set it up back from start that will erase all the glitches in it had to do mine on a tmobile Service with Samsung Galaxy s10+ watch is active 2.

One thing I discovered while having this problem was that the Galaxy Wearable app in the battery optimization menu in settings was turned on. This kept causing the phone to keep "optimizing" and saving battery thus hibernating the app and disconnecting the watch.

 

Just turn it off and the issue will probably be resolved.

I wish I had seen your reply ages ago. I figured this out eventually but not before sending the watch back uninstalling reinstalling both the phone and the watch. the only think that worked was the battery optimisation and now it is just fine.
