I'm thinking of upgrading from S8 to note 9. Would that be a good idea? Should I wait for the ten? Is the pen actually useful? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I upgraded mine from S8+ to S9+ and now Note 9.. from S9+ to note 9 the biggest difference i notice is the size, note 9 is way too big to carry around. I like big phone but note 9 is a bit bigger than S9+ but with the features and all i get in note 9 over S9+ it is worth the upgrade.. the pen is very helpful now that it has bluetooth and the battery is the best.. so far the downside for me is just the size.. I also notice note 9 is more faster than S9+ when it comes to performance maybe due to new heat pipe.
If money is not an issue Note 9 is worth what you paid for, but if you're on a budget S9+ is very good to upgrade and it is cheaper now.
