I can not connect my phone to my Phillips smart tv. My phone and tv are both brand new. It worked once and that was it.

Call Phillip's again and ask them about your model of dvd player. I did. I was told that my dvd player was made for over seas and not made for products of the United states. I have to send my dvd player to them and they will fix it for 80 bucks. nope. I turned it in the to cops. I bought it from walmart. they are selling products not made to play dvds from usa.

Intranet vs internet
You've got to visualize network or diagram it.

There are at least 3 ways to connect.
Internet is only one.
Basic network setup

First of all, carrier has a lot to do with it.

Add a blu-ray DVD player, chromecast dongle.

Blu-ray is basically a wifi device.

Or if you can find the old DVD receiver/stereo

Blu-ray is both wifi receiver and device

Network connection

Also, settings on TV. You'll be able to toggle settings and setup.

Also is tv in correct mode.

Lol. Tv has many modes

Good old Phillips magnavox television. Programming a universal or cable/satellite remote to them is problematic.
