I have had my new AT&T Note 10+ for less than a week and I already have terrible micro-scratches on the screen. For comparisoin I had my Note 9 for a year with no screen protection and never had any micro scratches. With the Note 10+ being Gorilla glass 6 has any one else experience this poor quality in the screen?

I will of course be trying to do at home remedies to fix and add a screen protector but again going from the Note 9 with no issues to the Note 10+ will two complaints doesn't sit well with me.

I've had mine since launch day and I don't notice any scratches. You know there is a pre installed screen protector on the device? If you didn't take it off than the micro scratches are not actually on the glass itself....

I concur.  I had my iphone for years and had not even the tiniest scratch.   The week of getting this phone the screen scratched.  EVEN WITH A 50$ SCREEN COVER.

The display is beautful but the durability holding up against scratching is god awful.

I'm sorry but this doesn't make sense. If there is a $50 screen cover, how would the screen get scratched? Did you remove the basic, preinstalled plastic protector first?

I really thought about going without a screen protector but only lasted about 5 min before I put the new screen protector on. I paid a lot of money for this thing not to have a screen protector.

As @uservWwFW7G64j said, the Note 10+ has a plastic screen protector installed at the factory. If you haven't removed that, the scratches you are seeing is in that plastic screen protector.

Hi @Samsung_N5Hb5Fv

As others have stated, you probably have that screen protector still on and it does scratch easily. I took mine off on day one and so far not a single scratch. They do a good job at applying those so close to edges, that a lot of users might not even realize it's there.

The Note 9 and Note 10 both use the same Gorilla Glass 6 so. There's that.

I believe Note9 was still shipped with GG5, since the GG6 was just announced about a month before its launch. There were rumors that it might have been on Note9, but it wasn't. Similar to how this year the Snapdragon 855+ came out to close to the Note10's launch, so it wasn't included, when many assumed or hoped it would.

With Note9, I got few scratched on the glass in the 6 months or so I had it. Then with S10 with GG6, which I used without a screen protector, there were no scratched at all in the same amount of time, and so far no scratches on Note10+. Knocking on wood.

It is the worst! I purchased mine 1 month ago, and peeled its plastic skin off as I always do with my samsungs and iPhones, never had an issue go without screen protector. Then 2 days later.... tragedy happened! I found many small scratches on right edge of my phone and a 1 inch long coin shape round scratches. I immediately called samsung question how come my samsung screen is this fragile.  I had Samsung 7 -10 , my husband using their notes for years also, never occurred once having scratches like this. I could not believe it called got reject for exchange cause its passed 14 days of remorse buying period.  It's just sad.... and unfair. Samsung has changed my idea of them from this galaxy. Completely lost faith here. I wish they left a note warning customers this is extremely fragile phone unlike the previous ones. Product manager need to see this. Imagine spent 1200 for a new phone and expect it work like the last one, instead of perform better it performed poorly.... it really upsets me. In a long run it will even get more scratches mess up the whole phone.
