Galaxy Note PhonesCurrently have a Samsung Note 5 on Verizon, and am using the Verizon messages app for text messages instead of the default Samsung messaging app.
I'm considering switching to Google Fi to take advantage of a great deal on a new Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Is there any reason to expect that switching networks (Verizon to Google Fi) will cause loss of any text messages if I use Samsung Smart Switch? Are all text messages typically on the phone itself or are they in cloud storage?
How would I find out whether text messages are on the Note 5 or split between the phone and Verizon cloud storage?
How can I be sure all text messages are transferred from the Note 5 and/or Verizon Cloud to the S22 Ultra and/or Google Fi network?
THANKS !!
