Transparent note when I pull the pen out and click new note

Help, this is driving my OCD into hyper drive 

Somehow I have set the note to a transparent when I pull the pen out and hit the create note button.

I have searched and searched but can seem to change this, any idea

I take my pen out 

Click on create note in the side panel

And the floating note is transparent 

Any ideas what I did ?

My floating note is transparent too and I haven't changed any settings

The solution for the note transparency problem is gone. 😰
