My husband's Note 8 had around 10% charge when he plugged it in before he went to bed and in the morning it was dead and would not charge at all. He tried different chargers and even wirelessly on a Qi pad. He took it to a repair shop and they said the motherboard died. So yesteray he purchased a Galaxy Note 10 and it was working great. Then he plugged it in last night and this morning it was dead and acted just like the first one. Whenever he tries to turn it on by holding the power and volume down buttons it just shows a plug and outlet symbol and then turns off even though he's had it plugged in for awhile. He's wondering if there's a system update causing this because he had one scheduled to start at 5:00 this morning. Has anyone ever experienced this? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Have you tried changing the wall outlet his phone is plugged into?
