I'm hesitant to upgrade. Here is my uses for my NOTE 20 Ultra: Stylus for pictures, mini sd using 64G. Use stylus for working. Manipulating photos using stylus. Largest screen compared to all Galaxy flagship at 6.9". Battery is 4500mAh. Thoughts and ideas on why I should upgrade based on my usage style.

Here are some other things to consider. The Note 20 series has One UI 5.1 (Android 13) as its final operating system. In addition to no longer receiving security updates, apps will eventually require a higher minimum operating system to function. Some apps already require Android 14 or higher.

I agree and that was one of the concerns I had. The Note 20 Ultra looks too nice a phone to trade away though!๐Ÿ™‚ I still have a S20+ which I hang on to for the microSD card capability. I don't use it for any critical work though.

The N20U was definitely an iconic device. I traded mine in a long time ago. Samsung clearly wants them, as they're offering $500 in trade. That's unheard of for a 6 year-old device!

You're right at some point I will need to upgrade to support the apps I use. Question is when and how long can i hold off?

Also think about which apps you will lose by upgrading. I have an older CCTV during, and lost access to its app when I upgraded to the S24 Ultra.

I say to go for it, but I will honestly be investing in an SPenPro so that I can have some additional features on my Spen. Other than that it seems like a pretty good upgrade. The Note 20 Ultra had a great run, but the S26 Ultra is designed to take your "S Series" loyalty to the next level with better durability, incredible AI photo tools, and a battery that actually keeps up with a power user.

Just like the S25 series, I don't believe the S26 series is going to have the internal hardware to use air actions from the S Pen pro.

Wow, this is the first I've heard of the spen pro. That's why we lost bluetooth on the spen?! There no way I would buy an spen that can't fit in my phone, andakes me not even want to buy a new ultra, I even paid restocking fees last year on account of the s25 ultra did not have bluetooth on the spen. Samsung, please learn how to communicate, and create a good customer experience.
