Galaxy Note Phones
Hi everyone, do you know how/if you can set a certain notification ring to a certain app. For example, I'd like to be able to tell, by the sound of the ring/notification that what I just heard means I received a text message. A different notification ring for WhatsApp, and a different one for Gmail, etc.?

Settings > apps > select the app you want > notifications > select category (for example, for messages there's a category "new message" which would be a notification for new messages) > sound > select a sound

Thank you so much, Cosmic Ray! You have to click on "in app notifications", then "sound" to pick the ring for the category. Thanks again, that was extremely helpful!
