Some of the aesthetics for the update are unappealing: i.e. the finger print icon looks big and blotchy. Another issue is that the edge lighting feature seems to have been removed, very necessary for notifications.
Overall, the update over-simplified the phone which makes it look and feel less complex. If your updates are going to be like this consumers may as well switch to Apple.
