using S7 Charger with the note 9 for the first use

Hey everyone..

so my problem is that i got my new Note 9 but without charger (yet)...

i didn't even boot it up ... my question is ... if it's normal to use my old S7 edge Charger

to charge it for the first time (6-8 hours charge) ... i read their voltages and currents ..

they seem to have similar ones ... is there something that prevents me to charge it this way ?

i have the USB_C cable so i can charge but will it harm the batteries ?

We would recommend using a charger that comes with the device or a Samsung original charger.

it is a Samsung original charger ..

but an old one (for S7 edge) ..

that's why i'm hesitated
