AccuBattery app is being killed repeatedly

Hello what's this new feature which seems to be killing background processes? AccuBattery makes nice statistics but after last update it tells me that it's being killed so the statistics are split to little pieces which is pretty useless.

I thought OK so I will put AccuBattery app into "apps that never sleep" settings, but no it doesn't help! Does it really need to be so aggressive and how is this function supposed to work anyway and for what? I didn't notice any better battery life since last update.

Hey,

@McVitas

Another option for this.

Third party apps are usually Optomized for battery usage. Some notify us that they need to be removed from the battery optomization list.

If you haven't already checked long press on the accubattery icon and select info. On the menu that opens select battery. If it shows optomizing for battery usage tap it. On the new page that opens at the top select apps not optimized and select all. Search for accubattery and turn the switch off.

Best regards,

Try opening the AccuBattery app. Then bring up your recent apps. Tap and hold at the top of the AccuBattery app in recents. A choice to keep open may appear. If it does tap on that and see if this helps.

Hello, so it seems the "keep open" via recent apps view works. But that's kind of a weird workaround IMHO...

Regarding optimized battery apps list I have found it there now. However I had to switch the view from "non optimized apps" to "all" and then I found it and deactivated the checkbox. So thanks for this. I will disable the "keep open" from recents and see if it still works.

Hi. So did it still work after you disabled "keep open" in recents? For me, AccuBattery is still being killed even though I disabled battery optimization for it. That really ducks because I now have to have "keep open" enabled and basically lose the function since I can only have one app kept open.
