This is pretty scary considering companies like Samsung likely use this system due to the deep ties they have with local carriers to install bloatware. I honestly wish Samsung would be like the iPhones/ Pixels and disregard carriers.

I can understand how frustrating this issue can be. As far as the ads being snuck in by the app developer. I recommend that you reach out to the app developer. You can find their contact information in the google play store.
