It's not recommended to use harsh chemicals, usually just a damp cloth at the most. However, given our current situation, I would say that the recommendation would still be to disinfect by whatever means necessary. I'm sure a few wipes with some disinfectant won't do much harm at all, so long as you don't drench the seals with it.
