What the actual heck Samsung?

Why did you opt to remove so much functionality from One UI???

I no longer have:
  • Bluetooth and alarm icons on the status bar
  • "Upcoming Alarms" after tapping on the lock screen clock
  • Lock screen media controLs IN THE NOTIFICATION TRAY (Now Bar is garbage)
  • Being able to swipe on the media controls to swap between media sources if you had multiple sources paused (Spotify, Youtube, Browser)
  • More than 3 notification icons, or cards on the lock screen
I hate:
  • The now bar taking up space in the status bar at the top of the screen
  • The now bar being SO **bleep**G SMALL ON THE LOCK SCREEN, AND I CAN'T EVEN MOVE IT
  • The mandated extra pills in the notification tray/center
  • Overly rounded & bolded font and style on my widgets
  • Rounded notification cards that now stack, and are spaced out too far. How in the **bleep** do you make something too crowded AND spread out at the sime time??
  • This illegible battery icon
You guys goofed up big time, absolitely blowing up the look and feel of our devices, AND ADDING EXTRA FRIGGEN STEPS TO EVERYTHING!

MY TALK TO TEXT IS EVEN LESS ACCURATE AFTER THE UPDATE!

THIS IS PR SUICIDE!

So is Samsung trying to have an IPhone feel that lacks true customization... I don't have an iPhone for a reason.

I miss the iPhone. At least the notification drawer looked normal and professional, not like this stack of big, colorful cards that make it look like a kids phone.

What really sucks is that all of these changes are enabled through a simple XML file (literal configuration and 'customization' options that *can* add to the AOSP base, but almost *always* take functionality away artificially) for each of the applications that they're relevant to. I repeat: none of the functionality went anywhere. BUT- sucks to be you because unless you root your phone, you can't change the XML files, and: even then, it ruins the device 'signature' if you do... So, you've got to love the world without root... and the ones that make it worse. Best of luck
