Galaxy S PhonesI've had the Galaxy s9 plus for a year now and recently the cable charging has stopped working the USB type-c plug no longer recognizes anything. It's still wirelessly charge has no problem but the battery feels like it's losing power faster. The guy at the store said it could be water damage and I work in the kitchen so maybe but it's never been submerged or exposed to a lot of water without me quickly drying it. Has this happened to anybody else?

Galaxy S PhonesSame things happening with my s9+. My phone keeps telling me theres moisture in the charging port. It's been going on for about 2 weeks now I just recently got a wireless charger but you're right the battery does feel like it drains faster!! So much for being water resistant.

Galaxy S PhonesI also started having the "moisture detected in charger/USB port" message appear two days ago. However, my phone has never been submerged in water and the charge port has never been wet, I have an otterbox case that keeps the charge port covered when not plugged in. Today my phone doesn't detect when a cord is plugged into the port. I've tried inserting both ways, a different cable, a different wall charger, and different power outlet. It will only charge wirelessly.

Galaxy S PhonesSame happens on my s9+.
It doesnt even recognize the cable after 2 seconds of "charging". Tried to clean the port from debris in case there were any with compressed air, also cotton and some alcohol extremely carefull in case the surface was oily due to skin oil (I dont know if it's called this way but I guess you ve got my point) but still no sign of charge past those 2-4 seconds.
Not to mention "fast charging" is gone since day one for no reason at all.. (stock block and wire, fast charge "on" from battery settings) but it does "fast charge" if I start up on safe mode.

Galaxy S PhonesDoes the fast charging appear when the device is in safe mode? Have you tried removing third-party applications that may be causing your symptoms? Are you running a third party theme on your device?

Galaxy S PhonesFast charge appears only on safe mode, for 2-4 seconds then stops charging at all and also stop recognizing any cable, Samsung's or not for a good 10 mins. After 5-10 pass if I try to reconnect the charger at the port it does exactly the same. Whither it's running on safe mode or not the only thing changing is that of fast charge.
Nope Samsung's theme/interface running, and phone has 2-3 extra apps including a game that is more than half a year installed, a lot after fast charge dissapeared.
My issue is that my phone is at 21% at the moment and it refuses to recharge, not about the fast charge. I m used to it, it never actually worked since the day I bought the phone
