Hi, for some reasons I couldn't see the option to put icon of apps that are already inside Secure Folder on Home Screen.
My phone is Galaxy S9 Plus

Yeah, for some reason my Secure Folder interface is kinda different from the link your link (and other tutorial videos on youtube that I watched), kinda simpler than yours. Could it be an older version? What is the current version? My version is from 2018 😂Screenshot_20230119-035716_Google Play Store_13799_1674129437.jpg

Isn't the whole purpose of secure folder is that so no one can easily see what you have in there? Putting an app on the home screen with the little secure folder lock seems to be completely counterintuitive to this.

Yes, the point is to not have these apps for anyone to access, this why it was locked away in a secure folder. I'm assuming that the other guy got to have those apps on his home screen because his phone is rooted (gs9)

I see your point, but shortcut like the one we are talking about is not an permanent one, what I mean withing few minutes (or whatever your settings are) this shortcut works but need to present credentials to get in, but after entering the passwords only this particular app opens. in my case WhatsApp.
I only created shortcut on home screen for illustration purposes, to prove the point that it's possible and it works
