Hi help please

I bought a Samsung s10 plus yesterday - came from a s8.  I cannot log into my google account at all and my backup file is with this account.  It just Has an endless "Account Action required" message no matter what I do it will not allow me to re sign in. Have removed the account - reset the password, soft reboot, hard re boot .   Ive cleared the cache for Play Services, Play store etc etc.  I can access another old gmail account and send and receive emails etc but not my main account.  The account works on everything else including my Tablet s4. Google sees the s10plus and has it as a regitered device so its not at that end.

Anyone with any advice would be much appreciated

I know this may be a silly question, but is your G-mail account requiring you to verify your e-mail for the device?

Not a silly question at all if I could just re sign in, as the phone requires.  It says to re sign into the account but wont let me.  The google account knows Ive signed in as it recognises the devices on the account.

Have you tried wiping the cache partition on your device?

Give these steps a try:

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
  6. Press Power key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
  8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
