I'm using a S20FE. Recently in Whatsapp and other apps when I am trying to Share photos it no longer wants to show the full gallery. For example on Whatsapp when I select albums I get the message that this app can only access photos I select and there is also a switch to work option which shouldnt apply as this is my personal phone.

How do I allow it to access everything when the permissions are already set to access all media?

Yeah, this is frustrating. This update sucks. Broke my phone. I'm having other issues too like apps restarting when I switch between apps. It's so annoying especially with chatGPT. I switch for a minute and it wipes the conversation thread and starts again.

Because of privacy measures some apps show only certain albums.  I ran into this this morning with a particular app.  The app did have a dot menu, however, where I could choose "browse" and choose to look at other albums, all my photos or other drives.  I was able to upload the pictures I wanted, even though it was not a very intuitive process. Look to see if there are any other options, such as brows, other services, cloud drives, or other such wording.  Sometimes these restrictions are the ones the app puts on, not Samsung.  But, even if it was Samsung's doing, you only want to grant permission for an app to see only what you want it to see.  You may not want to open it up to share and have it come across your private album of indelicate photos.
