Galaxy S Phones

My galaxy s9+ will not connect to phone service.  I am told I need Volte but this phone does not have that option.  It only lists LTE/3G/2G in mobile networks.  Is there a way to get it to be VoLte serviceable?  Consumer Cellular wants me to replace phone.

Hi, ... thought maybe I could easily find a solution, since my unlocked S7 (with Tracfone's Verizon CDMA SIM) has VoLTE switched On, under Settings... Mobile Network _ but it looks like you've already looked there and this setting is missing. Tried searching for a fix and it seems convoluted, to say the least. You're not alone, for example > https://forums.att.com/conversations/android/samsung-galaxy-s9-using-volte-due-to-3g-shutdown/62291e... ... I did see articles saying your Carrier needs to provide a "4G VoLTE enabled SIM card" ... Also, see the 'Approved Devices' underlined link in this article > https://forums.att.com/conversations/android/samsung-galaxy-s9-g960w-and-volte-function/615d14a0c70d... ... Have you tried doing 'Software Update' from the Settings menu? as this article seems to imply might be needed > https://www.bgr.in/news/samsung-galaxy-s9-galaxy-s9-plus-updated-with-4g-volte-support-on-both-sims-...
