Has anyone figured out a way for the ring tone to only be heard in the ear buds and not the phone? I can get notifications from text messages etc. to go to ear buds only, but not ring tone.
Try Good Lock's Sound Assistant module. You can set alerts through head phones. Download GoodLock if you don't already have it, download the sound assistant module. Open Sound Assistant and scroll down to advanced settings and tap it. Then tap "Alerts through headphones" Toggle on the alerts you want to hear in your ear. Ringtone/Alarm/Notification. Haven't actually gotten any alerts when I happened to have the headphones on since I turned on the settings, but all the alerts you set should now come through the buds.
