So earlier this week Outlook.com received a bit of an update (at least cosmetically) and my S5 Email app coincidentally stopped syncing email. I can't even do it manually. Any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks.

I would just delete the app and add it back in. It means you need to enter all the info again to setup the app.
Yep. I cleared the cache then cleared data and set up my email again and it managed to sync properly. Thanks for the advice.
