I am repeatedly told that I need to update the continuity service. However every single time I try and update it I get an installation error. It looks like a -8 error.

Any help would be helpful. No I cannot attach an error log simply because I don't even know where the error log lives on this thing

Okay Samsung!, people have been talking about the continuity service not updating for quite a while. Can you post something somewhere, anywhere! I understand what it is and what it does, and why it can be useful. I don't need that repeated.

How can I get it updated or please get rid of it and it's ability.

Hello Haldd,
Thank you for posting. Welcome to the Samsung Community. I understand you receive an error with the Samsung Continuity Service. Please attempt the following TS steps:

Go to settings ->apps, search continuity, tap the 3 dots menu at the top corner >select uninstall updates

Next, go back to the Galaxy store and update

If this does not work please submit and error report directly to Samsung.

Right after the issue appears, please submit an Error Report. Samsung Members app->Get Help->Feedback->Error Reports
