Fingerprints Not working

Ever since Samsung did the last update on the fingerprint scanner mine stopped working. It use to work a little but I was always having to restart my phone just for it to work a couple of times. But now it doesnt work at all. I do not have a screen protector covering it so I'm not sure what else to do😭

Thank you for reaching out! Will you please check the software version of the Fingerprints app? 

  • Settings > Biometrics and security > Biometric preference > Fingerprints

Do you still have your fingerprints registered to the phone?

I had to reset my phone just to get in this setting. I remember when they updated they said to reset all the fingerprints and I did so let see if it works this time.
