Galaxy S PhonesTo the Samsung Community:
I am unsure of whether or not this is the right board. I have a Galaxy 9. I do not know if that is a Galaxy S. Nonetheless, I have a problem. Yesterday I took continuous shots. My camera stopped working. I noticed my phone was very hot. It would not restart. I waited an hour for it to cool. I was able to restart it and use the camera again. I did more continuous shots. The phone started to get warm again. I tried searching the other posts. There were no hits for overheating due to camera use. Does anyone else have this problem? I eagerly await your replies. Stay safe!
Donna

Galaxy S PhonesThank you for reaching out. How long have your been experiencing these symptoms?
Are you using the stock camera app when experiencing these symptoms?
Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smart watch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues.
