Galaxy S7 WiFi issue

I have a galaxy s7 android 8.0 and the WiFi refuses to turn on.  I have tried all trouble shooting steps short of a factory reset (which I really don't want to do).   For the past week it would turn on after I restarted it and yesterday it would not turn on at all.  I tried turning it on in safe mode and still nothing.  Is there another solution short of a factory reset?

@thewatcher10 A factory reset would b the next step in troubleshooting the issue. If the Wi-Fi still will not turn on, the phone would need to be serviced.
