Galaxy S PhonesI've had a Samsung galaxy s9 64mb locked to cricket for I don't know, 4 or 5 years now. Seems like the last year plus I've been having issues with cellular data and its a strange one. My cellular data service seems to stop working or move beyond extremely slow and if I power cycle my phone it seems to solve the issue for the time being and then eventually it will happen again. I figured a factory reset of the phone may solve the issue as it might be software related but the issue continued. The strange thing is if I'm listening to a streaming music service when this happens the streaming music service will continue to work, as if it "locks in" that apps ability to receive cellular data, but all other apps that rely on data essentially cease to function. Is it possible it could be a bad cellular antenna? and if so why would the current music service continue to function, and why would power cycling the phone temporarily solve the issue? could it be a cricket wireless issue? if I go to them of course they're going to waste a load of my time only to say pound sand its out of warranty. I love the phone, functions just fine, but this issue obviously makes it practically unusable. I dont like the idea of paying $600 for a new phone because of this one little issue. If anyone could steer me in the right direction of something that might help, or maybe has a beat on good deals on maybe galaxy s20's that are new and from a legit seller, that would be awesome. Thank you!
