Galaxy S9 Plus Text Message Bubbles and Background...

I just got my S9 Plus today and I can say there are some thing that I am not impressed with.

With Galaxy S8 Plus you were able to change the Text Message Bubbles and customize the Background with your own picture.

I'm not sure as to why it was not a feature brought over to the S9 Plus, the text messaging app seems archaic and disappointing. 

**I know many people have complained about this. Can you please see if the developers can push an update you make this an option.

Another suggestion to developers, have a announcement board with itemized fixes, but, with fixed, not fixed + reason for difficulty in fix, a "we do not plan to fix" with a detail as to why, or just a projected time for fix. At least we would have something official to stop posts. Also other developers can help in the quest to fix should it be a difficult one. There is not a shop that exists with "all knowing technicians/developers/programmers/coders!"

Got my S9+ yesterday, and am now customizing as usual.  I am pretty disappointed with the Messages app on here too.  I miss my puppies in the background!  Fix would be lovely!!

Go to your control panel and pick Themes and wallpapers. You get an option to change your wallpaper, themes and icons. Go to themes and pick a theme. That will change your bubbles. Now, if it's not the wallpaper you want to keep, you can go back and change your wallpaper.

Click on the icon in the txt message and you can edit your profile picture.

I have a s9 + and have tried this already multiple times. This option is just simply not available, but for some reason is still available to s8 users.

No longer available to my S8 since an update last weekend. EXTREMELY dissapointed and confused as to why they'd make over the icons as these stupid cartoon graphics and remove handy and desired options.  The redesign of Messages is bland, boring and insipid - stupid.
