Galaxy s5 active volume

JUMP TO SOLUTION

Yesterday I had to restore my phone and since then my volume has been very low. I have went into all of the settings and made sure that they were turned all the way up and I can still hardly hear it. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Obviously I assume that you have raised your ringer volume all the way up. Changed your ringer sound to something else and tested it. If you have installed any sound control/change applications, you have un-installed them.

If so then restart in safe mode and see if that helps.

Turn the device off.
Press and hold the Power key.
When 'Samsung Galaxy S5' appears on the screen, release the Power key.
Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode.

Which volume is low? Phone call, music, notification?
If it is phone call volume, make a call and while on call, up the volume and see on screen where the marker is. Is that all the way up?

it is the ringtone volume that is very low. I have tried everything including taking the battery out and restarting the phone. It was loud before the reset.
