I CANNOT STAND those SCAM LIKELY calls.. so many.. so irritating..
I asked Google how to stop them on my galaxy s9, and what Google tells me to do is:
  1. Open the phone dialer app.
  2. Click on the three dot settings button in the top right of the screen.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Open Caller ID and spam protection.
  5. Click on the toggle to flip on Smart Call.
Well, when I click on Setting, I DO NOT HAVE Caller ID and spam protection

Anyone knows anything about it?

Ask your carrier for help with this. For example, I'm with Verizon and they offer free scam blocker

Thanks guys.. I did go to a T-mobile store, the guy installed some appointment my phone.. which stopped my scam-likely call AS WELL AS ALL CALLS.. 🤪 no one could reach me.. thank God for whatsapp.. so I am reluctant.. though I will go to a different Tmobile store and test it before I leave..
Thanks for the advice👍

Tons of free blockers in Google play. You will find though that most phone blockers send the blocked call to voicemail so you're still stuck with them unless you pay for a voicemail blocker. Rare to find and when you do they are subscription and not cheap. I have Boost Mobile with Sprint voicemail and both said there's nothing they can do. You lose caller id when you toggle smart call.

Patriot, when you get the free blocker from Verizon does it send the **bleep** to voicemail?
