My S10e suddenly has a gray scaled screen at night. My wife’s identical phone does not have the phenomenon. A week or so ago I tried changing settings so the phone would stop ringing while we were asleep, and must’ve changed something that activated this doggone colorless screen. I’ve gone into display settings and rummaged around, trying to determine where the aberrant setting is, but can’t figure out why it stubbornly continues with the colorless night screen mode.
It’s obviously to do with a timer setting and display, but nothing I change in that realm resolves the issue.
there is a feature to put the phone to grey scale at specified time as a routine to save your eyes and maybe even battery (this latter part I am not sure, it's just a guess).
