Galaxy S PhonesFor the past few weeks, the screen has started getting increasingly glitchy and won't correctly initialize. If I hit the haptic screen button or the power button on the side, it does the same thing either way. Screen flashes but doesn't stay up, and the video gets squeezed up to the very top of the screen. Sometimes the screen will come up with a sickly yellow color where it'll eventually die, and the camera doesn't work at all.

Galaxy S PhonesDo you experience these symptoms if you test your device in safe mode? If your phone is misbehaving, it's possible that a third-party app is causing the issue. To figure out what app is acting funny, you can use the Safe Mode feature. In Safe Mode, your phone won't run any third-party apps. This allows you to easily identity and remove the app that may be causing the problem. Give this link a try: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

Galaxy S PhonesThe last software update was from the end of September when I finally received the Sept security patch. I checked for updates but it says I'm up to date.

Galaxy S PhonesI don't see my other post here (deleted? unposted?) so to be clear with my reply on Friday, the screen glitch happened right out of the gate on the start of a reboot. The Galaxy title screen was yellowed, and the PIN page was unreadable. I was able to unlock the phone from muscle memory (after trying a few time) and the screen continued to malfunction all the way into Safe Mode.
So it's definitely not an issue with installed software. Maybe a firmware issue?
