Galaxy S PhonesMassive error here. Apparently I'm not allowed to clear my own clipboard anymore.
Anyone figured out how to take back control of the phone?
I can see passwords in there and I can't remove them.
Please fix asap!!

Galaxy S PhonesCheck Settings -> "Biometrics and security" -> "Other security settings" -> "Device admin apps" to see which applications could be imposing that security policy.

Galaxy S PhonesI'm also having the same problem. Disabled all apps in "Device admin apps" to no avail. Then uninstalled them but still the same.
Edit: fixed mine. Seems the clipboard is from the secure folder. Open the secure folder and try to delete it there.

Galaxy S PhonesDo this first. It will allow you to go into the godforsaken clipboard.
Then scroll left or right to get to the clipboard then go find the damned image and delete it.
Rediculous its this hard.

Galaxy S PhonesThis is caused by the edge panel clipboard. Delete from there anything you don't want and it will disappear from the keyboard clipboard.

Galaxy S PhonesHey!
I was confused by what you said at first but I got it and it worked! I needed to add the "Clipboard" panel to the Edge Screen and then delete the unwanted items from there. It worked perfectly, thank you for the suggestion

Galaxy S PhonesUnable to delete Clipboard protected by security policy
+I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10
I have some items locked to my clipboard that I cannot unlock and delete.
When I try I receive an error message saying
"Security Policy prevents you from selecting this item"
what does it mean ??!! when i try to select item done by me ??!!!!
how can I delete clipboard text which I have written ?! How is this error when I try to delete and message is appearing , security policy prevents you from selecting this item, what is this and why ?!!! The problem is when copy text from dual app as what's upp dual messenger, this error is unknown and solution is still unidentified
Really this is very surprising and annoying, How is Samsung software unaware with such these errors?!!!
This is unacceptable and incomprehensible
I got it by your explanation about Edge panel but i can't delete the item separately unless clear all items except i have locked my self as it can be deleted on any of typing text apps.
but i don't understand the explanation of it and demonstration why is it happening especially to dual messenger, this is unacceptable and unidentified issue.
It's regret to inform that Samsung support doesn't know to solve such issues even the description to activate safe mode is not correct as this is misguiding the users - people.

Galaxy S PhonesI had the same problem. For me it was because I had copied the text whilst inside the secure folder. Go back to secure folder and clear clipboard from there.

Galaxy S PhonesThe problem seems to be with copying items while using dual messenger.
If you copied the text while using the second app then you can only delete it while you're in the second app. Same way, if you copied the text using the primary app then you can only delete it while in the primary app.
Hope this helps. 🙂
