With the camera, it's already built into the operating system.

With an older phone, if it's not built into the operating system download a 3rd party app. I found a really fast and reliable one was. "QR & Barcode Scanner PRO" by Gamma Play. No ads and very fast and can actually zoom in. It is even good at reading codes that are not super in focus and are not amazing quality.

Another one for reading really any barcode is "Barcode Generator" by Aeiou on the play store.

Hello there!

I will be happy to provide the steps on how to scan QR codes via Camera app on your Samsung device.

Follow the steps below:

- Swipe down your screen to access your Quick Settings and tap on QR Scanner.

- Tap OK to proceed to the next step.

- The Camera app will then be launched where you can scan QR Code. Once the QR Code is scanned, you should be able to launch the webpage below.

- If the QR Code cannot be scanned you may need to enable this setting. Tap on the Camera Settings icon button.

- Toggle on Scan QR codes.

If the steps above does not work, then you may have to download a third-party app that will allow you to scan QR codes via Camera app.
