After the latest update on the 05/09/2019, my Galaxy S9 64 GB unlocked phone keeps coming up with the message: 'IMS Service Keeps Stopping'. The phone is also now much slower and less responsive. I have done a hardware reset of the phone and I have also wiped the cache partition and the cache and data in IMS Service and IMS Settings to no avail. Is there a bug fix/update coming soon?

also it's draining my battery down that much i have to keep it on a charger or else it will completely drain within half an hour of being fully charged, not happy samsung.
I have had the same problem as of last night when i updated my samsung s9+ and i have also done everything possible. Have you had any luck in hearing when the update will be fixed.
I have the very same issue since updating the software. My service provider is Optus and all my other services are fine - just not my phone. It is very annoying to even attempt to make a phone call and to see the number dialled has no resemblence to what was entered due to lag. The battery flattens in hours. I have done all the suggested fixes on line and nothing has improved.
Yep I got this problem now. 9/9/2019. Looks to be a systemic issue with the firmware update. I am seeing people report this as early as 7 days ago, why is this update still being released if it is causing this many issues with the phone?
Yes it was happening in Safe Mode.
Just finished a complete rebuild and its still happening.
Cleared Cache, wiped phone, full factory reset.
I did purchase my phone in the USA and am using it in Australia. (Telstra). It is an unlocked phone.
I did the update on my S9 yesterday and all the same issues are happening. I have tried EVERYTHING everyone has suggested, including checking if it happens in safe mode (it does), clearing the caches, factory reboot, still not working. I've swapped to an old Nexus phone because the phone isn't useable. Called Samsung today but as it is a US phone and I'm in Australia, they can't do anything. Very upset! Please help.
