Missed call notifications disappear

When I receive a call and I miss it, the notification will pop up on my lock screen then disappear after about 3 seconds. If I unlock my phone, I don't have any notification whatsoever that I missed a call. The only way to tell is to open the phone icon and view missed calls. This is not normal, how do I fix this? Messages and other notifications work like they are supposed to.

No theme downloaded. I just changed it to various default themes to make sure, still the same problem. I have not tried it in safe mode. Should I try that next?

Confirmed working in safe mode. I guess I need to find out which app is causing the issue?

Correct! Safe mode disables third-party apps from running in the background. I recommend deleting the most recent apps you have downloaded and keep testing until you are able to see your notifications pop up.

I am having the same problem and it still doesn't work while being in safe mode. Do you have any other suggestions?

I have deleted the only 2 apps that were ever loaded.  I have never added any background.  I have never ever been able to receive any missed call notification except a vibrate.  I just called myself from my other phone after uninstallng the 2 apps.  It didnt notify me of a missed call.

It just doesn't work.

Does this occur when the device is in safe mode?

If your phone is misbehaving, it's possible that a third-party app is causing the issue. To figure out what app is acting funny, you can use the Safe Mode feature. In Safe Mode, your phone won't run any third-party apps. This allows you to easily identity and remove the app that may be causing the problem.

Give this link a try to test your device in safe mode:

Thanks for all the help. I figured out that the notifications were being forwarded over to my smart watch so I turned it off on the smart watch and it works as designed. The LED around the camera even works now when the phone rings.
