Missing Photos from my Samsung phone 9+

I freed up my space from my phone but I did not know that my pics would be significantly impacted. I cant can't find a lot of my pics that were removed. I don't see them in Samsung Archive. Do anyone know where they could be?

check in the gallery to see if trash is active. if it is, the deleted photos may be there.
