My Instagram app black screen on feed section?

On my Samsung S9 the Instagram app when I open the app it has a black screen on the feed section of the app any suggestions 🤔

Considering the S9 is 5 years old, will no longer get any Android updates or security updates, do you think it might be nearing its end of life, which is why it's not working correctly?
