Any ideas on how to remedy this? Very annoying.

Thank you for that information. As the device is unlocked it may not have all of the carrier based features. I have verified with on one of our testing devices that there is the option for individual ringtones on a T-Mobile device. I would recommend reaching out to your carrier for further assistance,

Can you elaborate on what exactly is missing? Like are you trying to enable/disable getting notifications on a call?

The Ringtone option is missing from contacts altogether.

What type of device are you using?

What do you see if you go to contacts > tap on a contact > tap on edit at the bottom > and if you scroll down and click on view more, what do you see?

Everything except the ability to assign ringtones. I can assign vibration patterns but not ringtones. It's not listed as an option.
