I've been doing some researches and know that Edge lighting only works with notifications that wake the screen up. But most app's notifications don't wake my screen up. Is there any way to fix or change this so that app's notifications will wake the screen up ? I know a 3rd party app called Glimpse, but the issue with this app is that it shows its "not very good looking" icon when notification arrives, not the app's icon.

Use the drop down from top, select edge lighting for a few seconds until the edge lighting settings appear. Go to the bottom at manage notifications. Ensure to turn on all the apps you want for edge lighting to turn on the screen by showing it
