I have a dead S7 on my hands.  Everything points to a hardware problem.  I'm not giving up on getting some info off this thing.  At this point, I don't care how much the phone needs to be ripped apart to get info off of it.  Does Samsung offer repair options?  Anyone you can suggest?  Local options always **bleep** so that's out.  Thoughts?  Thanks!

Hmmm...I'll take a look at that.

If you are handy, then buy some affordable tools and maybe a replacement battery  (assuming you are somewhat confident that battery replacement will fix it). It will be messy and time consuming it this is your first time prying the phone open.... you'll also need a heat gun or hair dryer that gets pretty hot to melt the glue

If it's a CPU or motherboard or any other essential part being dead... then take it to UBreakIFix and see if they can pull those files out of the dead phone.
