i found out from my searches that preinstalled Peel app on my Samsung Galaxy is causing to show the annoying buttons on the lockscreen. it also shows news and sometimes popups that saids battery is at 25%. a lot of full screen ads come to display when I don't use the app. i uninstalled the updates from the Google play store, but Peel app just keeps on coming back from the dead and i have to uninstall each time. is there a way to prevent updates to happen automatically?

i kept on uninstalling the updates to the preinstalled Peel Universal Smart TV Remote Control, but it kept on annoyingly auto-installing.
here's how I disabled auto-install.
1. Go to Play Store app
2. 3 horizontal lines on left
3. My apps & games
5. 3 dots on right
6. Disable auto update
7. Uninstall Updates
Check out this link about app permissions. You can set the permissions for apps individually. Let us know if this helps.
