Why does the Photo Ambient setting add an "AI Generated" watermark at the bottom of the screen? There's absolutely no reason to add that and all it does is it makes people not wanna use the setting. Please get rid of it, Samsung.

Cause it uses AI to analyze the photo and the weather to show on your screen thats why it has a water mark saying its AI generated cause the weather is when it shows and if you have a subject then it dose the bouncing effect with AI as well

I know that it uses AI but there's no reason to show a watermark. The watermark makes the feature "unlikeable" and there's no reason to add it. It's not like someone can get in trouble for having a secretly AI-generated picture as their wallpaper.

It is absolutely necessary, as people need to know it's AI generated, so they don't believe it's real and also so people don't pass the work iff as their own. If you choose not to use the feature because of it, that's your choice. It's also probably law by now that AI generated material must be identified as such. It doesn't matter that *you* are *only* using it as wallpaper.

You're wrong. Google is free, and a simple search will tell you it's completely legal for Samsung not to add this watermark; it's actually unnecessary. The Ambient Photo feature doesn't even use AI. It uses pre-made animations for any photo you choose; therefore, it doesn't need to be classified as AI. Samsung classified it as AI only because they moved the feature to the "Create with AI" section (even though it's not AI). Next time, do your research before responding!

You don't like the watermark don't use it. Simple as that. It's there for whatever reason. I didn't say it was definitely law, and I did not say it was required to be there. I said people need to know if something is AI generated. In my opinion it should be required to be on anything having to do with AI. Also, it *is* AI generated, even if it is made with preexisting images unless one personally selected and put each component into place.

True. Except, as I've said before, it's quite literally not AI. Also, have you never heard of suggestions? If I don't like something and it's obviously better off gone, I'm going to talk about it. Why do you think forums exist?

Why do YOU think forums exist?  To me they are to have open, rational discussions, not really just to shoot people down who are making rational, well reasoned comments that you then disregard.  If something is created by a computer, that you did not implicitly dictate where the elements went, or how they look, then it is AI generated.  If Google or whoever created "Photo Ambient" has decided to add the Generated by AI watermark, then I guess your only recourse would be to generate the image yourself, without any AI tools.

Except it's not an image, and I can definitely create the effect (because that's what it is, not AI), but I can't natively add it to my lock screen. My request was simple (yes, it was a request, if you couldn't tell; that's what forums are for). I never shot him down; he did first, and I was telling him why he's wrong. I don't think you know what forums are for, either, it seems.

Forums are for discussions.  Sometime discussions go a different way than you expected.  People informing you of their opinions are part of what makes these Forums.  Feature requests should actually not be brought into the forums, but in the Members app for a feature request or to submit a bug.  We in the forums cannot make changes to the devices.  You can use the forums to curry favor for your suggestion, by all means.  My point was that ANYONE who has replied to your "suggestion" was immediately shot down, and "put into their place" by you, who has no right to do so.  You act like you did not do anything wrong, but have talked down to everyone who responded.  not sure how you will curry favor for your support if no one is allowed to have an opinion other than you...

If it is not an image, then what is it?  If you are not able to do this yourself, then what is doing this for you?  AI is a loose term, and technically ANYTHING an automated process does can be considered AI.
